At AC Mist, rooms was supremely comfortable, accommodations were immaculate. We are ideally situated at a serene,
central location in Munnar with close proximity to all your favorite attractions.
Like Malmaison, the garden, 3 Km away, was built with the intention of displaying every rose in the world, and in the early years of the 20th century it contained 7,000 rose cultivars. Today it has around 2,000 species and 3,000 cultivars.
The honey bee tree is located at about 5.7 Km from AC Mist, along the Mattupetty route. Honey Bee Tree is an interesting attraction in Munnar. It is a huge tree with lot of honey bee hives hanging from the top of the tree.
Photo Point is a popular destination situated at about 5.1 Km away from AC Mist on the way to Mattupetty. The viewpoint gives a "Bird's Eye View" of a carpet of tea estates and forested mountains in the horizon.
Kolukkumalai is the world's highest elevation tea plantation at 7900 feet msl. It is a continuously uphill trail with some rising and falling segments. Korangani to Kolukkumalai is a full day trek. The place is popular for growing special flavoursome teas and located at just 400 m away from AC Mist.
Drenched in the mist and greenery, Pothamedu viewpoint is a spot worth trekking to. Pothamedu View Point offers some spectacular views of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations. This viewpoint, at a distance of 4.9 Km, enables a panoramic vista of the valley.
It is one of the four main waterfalls of Munnar and is very popular among adventure seekers, as the dirt mountain path through the forest gives chills on every step towards Attukad Waterfalls. There is a palpable sense of calmness in the midst of untamed nature. Located at a distance of 9.3 Km.
Eravikulam National Park is located 12.6 Km from AC Mist along the Western Ghats in the Idukki and Ernakulam districts of Kerala in India. Many perennial streams criss-cross the park. They merge to form tributaries of the Periyar river in the west and of the Cauvery River in the east.
Falling through a steep rock from a height of about 2,000 m, this cascading waterfall is a wonderful place originated from the scenic & sacred Devikulam Hills. The Power House waterfall, it is en route to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady. It is Located 18 Km from the property.
Mattupetty Dam, near Munnar in Idukki District, 11.4 Km away from the property, is a storage concrete gravity dam built in the mountains of Kerala, India to conserve water for hydroelectricity. The large amount of perennially available water allows wild animals and birds to flourish.
